If you ever wanted some style advice with a side of sass, JoAnn from Bensonhurst is your go-to gal. She's an over-the-top Brooklynite whose accent will knock your leopard print slippers off, and whose tell-it-like-it-is attitude will knock you back into reality. Her show this week on CafeMom Studios focused on style and beauty -- JoAnn took subscribers' fashion questions and doled out some pretty unforgettable advice on inner beauty, underwear, and how to know when your jeans are too tight. There's also a little segment on cooking chicken cutlets, which was a little out of left field, but not entirely unappreciated.
Once you get past the fact that you're listening to style tips from a woman whose beauty routine includes dark brown lip liner, there are are some valuable takeaways. Her advice, though tongue in cheek, is actually pretty timeless.
She says that animal prints are always in (true), that Jennifer Aniston is a style goddess (true), that your jeans are too tight if you look like five pounds of meat stuffed into a three-pound bag (true). She gets heated when the topic of letting your hair go gray is broached (nevah, evah, letcha hair go gray) and even more fired up about swimwear (don't wear a bikini if your ass is as big as a truck).
I don't know about you, but I kind of want JoAnn to narrate a Toddlers & Tiaras episode and tell us what she thinks about those little outfits. I'm sure her style advice for those young ones would be priceless.
What do you think of JoAnn's tips?

How can she say, "Beauty starts from the inside out," after telling everyone to "Never let your hair go gray," or to cover up when on the beach if you are fat? If beauty starts on the inside and radiates on the outside, then the beauty of one's confidence should radiate through and allow others to look past the fat rolls and cellulite to see the beautiful personality underneath. Sure, we should all retain some modesty when choosing the things we wear, but the hypocrisy...OH! THE HYPOCRISY!!! She contradicted herself hardcore!
I mean, sure, I agree with her last tip. Inner beauty radiates the brightest. The rest...I could really care less for.
I am gray and proud of it!!
LOVE HER!!!!!!
I JUST LOVE THIS WOMAN :))))))))
MY FAVOURIT PART IS JOLIE VS. ANISTON :)))) I SO MUCH AGREE WITH JOANN ...JOLIE CANT BEAT ANISTON....NEVER EVER :))))) ANISTON IS MY IDOL ....OF COURSE AFTER JOANN :)))
That's just stupid every woman should wear what ever they want to wear regardless of how they look as long as they are comfy if u don't like their big ass by Gorge don't look!!! If they have grey hair and you don't like it again ya dont have to look!! Every one is beautiful in there on way and every one has a diff look on what beauty is she just makes her self look dumb,
Love her spunk. She tells it like it is.I'm getting gray in the temple area and I think it's a pretty silver, but, if dyeing makes me look younger,I'd rather look younger.
I agree with most of what she said. Now, I don't understand how any of these things have anything to do with 'inner' beauty, but honestly some people should never wear a bikini (I am one of them) and as for gray hair, it should be a personal choice. I knew a young woman in the 90's who had gorgeous gray hair, it really suited her coloring. Then she dyed it brown and it looked awful. I have the ocassional gray hair and I yank it out. I don't know what I will do when it all turns, but I will do what I want to, not what a stranger thinks I should do.
