Well, after days of shooting, weeks of editing, and YEARS of planning and fantasizing, the first episode of CafeMom Studios' "I'll Take That Dare" is finally out!
In this episode, I channeled my inner Ke$ha for a night out in downtown Nashville -- and we got some HILARIOUS reactions from the people who witnessed it.
Check out the video after the jump and then tell me in the comments -- would YOU take this dare?
Or did I completely lose my mind???!!!
First ... THE VIDEO.
Hair and makeup were provided by the eternally gracious Stephanie Trail at Salon NFuse -- I think she did an amazing job, don't you? There's no way I could have figured out how to do that face paint myself. To get the glitter to stay on my face, she actually painted eyelash glue around my eye and then dabbed the glitter on top. It was a genius move because the glue is made to go on sensitive skin, and when I was done with this dare, it just peeled right off.
Another question that lots of people have been asking on my Facebook page, where I posted the video this morning, is whether the people in the video were extras or "real people." Well, every single one of them was real -- we had absolutely NO trouble getting plenty of reaction from the people around us.
I will tell you I've been so nervous and excited about this series, I could hardly stand it. It's definitely not normal for me to go out in public and make a complete fool of myself, but I figured if I was going to do this, I was going to do it 100 percent -- and I didn't hold back! Every time I felt even a little bit uncomfortable, I reminded myself that this was my idea in the first place, and with a fabulous crew of nine people doing everything in their power to help make the show great, I couldn't let everyone down.

Oh, and this onstage part? TOTALLY unplanned! (Well, all of it was unplanned, but this was one of my favorites!) The crew and I marched into the bar, I started dancing (BY MYSELF -- YIKES!), I pulled another woman out of her seat to dance with me, and the lead singer of the band pulled us both up on stage.
It was an unforgettable moment in the shoot, that's for sure!
Tell me what you think in the comments -- and ask any questions you'd like. I'd love to hear from you!
