Sarah Palin's New Hairstyle Is Her Biggest Mistake Yet

Despite my general disdain for Sarah Palin, I'll always admit, the woman has nice hair. The style she's chosen to wear it in isn't necessarily my cup of tea, but her hair -- the texture, the shininess, the color of it -- really has always been quite lovely. But since I saw her on FOX News the other night discussing the Iowa caucus, I'm reevaluating my opinion. (Of her hair.)

First of all, there was the beehive of it all. Yeah, Palin has always had a penchant for a mini-beehive 'do, if you will, but we're talking full-blown beehive here. Lots of teasing, lots of spraying, possibly a Bumpit hidden somewhere in there, the whole bit.

And then there was the rest of her hair ...

What happened? What is going on? I think the beehive would have actually looked okay if the rest of her hair were straight (and her bangs were brushed a little more). The curls that start above her ears just look ... odd. They make her look sort of Lord of the Rings-esque, and completely undone, which is not a look Sarah favors. (Unless we're talking about the two-fleece incident.) So, again, what happened? What is going on?

Was her hairstylist off for a post-holiday vacay? Was she trying out a new 'do for 2012? Or did she just not feel like washing and brushing out her New Year's Eve style? I want answers. This hairdo is more confounding to me than her politics.

But not more confounding than her decision to wear two fleeces. That I will never understand.

Why??? What is it to you how she wears her hair?? Have you become so catty and spiteful, that all you have to do is make fun of her clothes and now hair?? I mean, I know you and several other Stir bloggers hate her guts, but let it go. enough is enough. No wonder women cannot get along. We are a bunch of triffling catty bickering women.

Oh Billsfan, lighten up already. We know you love SP and all her wackiness, but her hair looks bad here. It's frumpy and ages her. It's ok to talk about the silly stuff now and then. Women talk about this stuff.

Tiny, I do not love her. I agree with many of her positions, and I didnt think she would of made a good vice president, because she is too rigid in her views. With that being said, the constant berading of her is getting old. If this was done to any other democratic coandidate or former candidate, the same blogger would be crying foul. I guess I am just tired of people not talking about the issues. BTW, I do think her hair looks horrible, but I am not going to write a whole blog on it.

Why is her hairstyle an issue? Shouldn't we be listening to the content of her views? As women, the worst thing to do to each other is to tear female public figures down for smething as trivial as hairstyle! Good grief...as a man (unless the name ends in Trump) this would be a non-issue!!

To add to that, the focus on the clothing and the hair...all that says is that women don't actually pay attention to politics!

No, we shouldn't be listening to the content of her views. She is a non-entity politically. I don't care about her views, because they are irrelevant. And when she was relevant, her views were moronic.

Because she lacks substance, there is nothing about Palin worthy of discussion besides her clothing and "hairdos", and even that is debatable. Because I would rather not discuss her at all.

Is this a joke? Leave this woman alone for crying out loud. She's not doing a damn thing to hurt anyone and this post sounds like a spoiled child wrote it. Picking on her hair or clothes is extremely jr high. Isn't it time to grow up yet?
