Scarlett Johansson's Amazing, All-Natural Beauty Secret

Scarlett JohanssonScarlett Johansson really does seem to be the ideal woman -- She's gorgeous and sexy, yet she also seems totally approachable, off-the-cuff and fun.

Scarlett's been avoiding the spotlight since her breakup with Sean Penn, but now she's making the rounds again, promoting her new movie, We Bought a Zoo. She recently did an interview with and shared lots of great beauty secrets -- including one on how she gets a glowing complexion before a big event. It's fast, cheap, and you probably already have the necessary ingredient in your pantry!

Here are the details from Scarlett herself:

I am a great believer in using natural products and drinking lots of water. Something I’ve discovered recently is actually using honey as a mask. I use Manuka honey. You just warm your face so that your pores are open (you can steam your face right after getting out of the shower), and then you just take a spoon and apply the honey directly to your face and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. It really adds an amazing glow and your skin is so soft afterwards. It pulls out the impurities—and it’s a nice foundation, especially if you are going to a big event where you want a great glow and you want to take that extra 15 minutes to do a treatment before you put your makeup on. It preps your skin in a really nice way.

I can't wait to try this tip out!

Scarlett is hardly the first person to use honey as an all-natural facial ingredient -- The National Honey Board has three recipes for honey facials -- a honey toner, a rose oil & honey facial mask, and a "honey and gold luxe facial", which calls for 24 karat gold leaf sheets ... because we all have 24 karat gold leaf sheets lying around the house, right??!!

But if pure honey is good enough for Scarlett, it's good enough for me, too.

How about you? Will you try Scarlett's beauty secret?
