Gloria Estefan Takes a Turn in 'Optical Illusion Dress': This Is Getting Ridiculous

Gloria EstefanWow, Gloria Estefan has lost A LOT of weight! Check out those curves! She looks AMAZ---

Wait a second.

Haven't I seen that dress before ... ?

Oh no.

It isn't.

And it's baaa---aaaaack.

Gloria, honey, you're old enough to know better than to try and hide your real figure in a cartoon-curve dress!

But don't worry, you're not alone in wearing it. Along with Kate, Nicole Scherzinger and Liv Tyler have turned up in this thing, too.

And while it didn't really bother me the first time I saw it, now it's starting to drive me a little bit crazy.

How about you?

Part of what bothers me about the dress is that it creates what I'm assuming women who wear it believe is a "desirable" figure, one with Barbie-like proportions and gravity-defying boobs.

How is creating or wearing this dress good for women? To me, it's adding fuel to the outdated notion that women should be aiming for the curves of a Jessica Rabbit-style cartoon character.

Another problem I have with it is that it costs $1,595. Really, Stella McCartney? Is this dress REALLY worth that much?

I wonder ...

We've shown you a (MUCH) cheaper knockoff version of this dress in the past, but I have to tell you -- I've found a look that's even less expensive and offers the same effect. Check it out:

Myrtle Beach T-ShirtDon't hate, ladies.

Myrtle Beach T-ShirtIt takes a lot of work (not to mention $15 at a Myrtle Beach t-shirt shop) to get a body this good ...

Would you wear an 'Optical Illusion' dress?
