Covering up blemishes with makeup can be difficult.
But imagine how much harder it would be if you suffered from severe acne, like 19-year-old Cassandra Bankson.
Fortunately, Cassandra figured out a way to hide her acne problem. She even created a makeup tutorial on YouTube to show others how she does it.
The transformation was so amazing that the video went viral and now has nearly 2 million views.
Click through to see how Cassandra creates a flawless face.
Here's the original video:
Pretty impressive, huh?
Cassandra's makeup coverage techniques are so good, in fact, that she actually works as a model. It's impressive that she didn't let her skin condition get in the way of her dreams.
I wish that we could see more videos and photos like this one, exposing the fact that even beautiful girls like Cassandra Bankson have to do some behind-the-scenes work to get that way.
It seems like women go to extraordinary lengths to cover up the fact that when they wake up in the morning, they don't necessarily look all that glamorous or seductive! And I include myself in this group -- I totally admire Cassandra for going public in her "natural state" -- I could NEVER do it.
What about you? Would you show off a photo of yourself on Facebook or video on YouTube with no makeup whatsoever? Why or why not?

I could never expose my acne in public like this. That's a pretty great thing that she did. It not only helps others learn how to hide acne, it also helps us feel like we're not the only ones. I still get get bad acne and I'm 38! I've been dealing with it since I was 15 and it was the worst in college (probably stress related). I think it could be hormone related too so maybe I'll have problems until I stop getting periods, I don't know, but geez I figured by 38 I wouldn't have to deal with this anymore. I use Estee Lauder's Maximum Cover and I spot cover with it. It's the ONLY expensive make-up I buy, but it makes a huge difereence and allows me to be able to leave the house and lead a normal life. I know that sounds crazy but acne can have a really bad affect on your self-esteem. I really commend her for doing this video.
make up makes acne worse tho..so this isn't really a good solution.
she looks awesome, but I wouldn't recommend anyone slathering on makeup to hide acne that's just my opinion tho
I was very fortunate to not have horrible acne, and I do reveal my naked skin quite ofen. However, my skin is really pink. I dont know how else to say that. I'm a pink person, especially in the winter. So its around then that i usually cake on the make up, which causes me to get pimples. The only thing that really helps for me is a goo dskin care routine.
Impressive! BUT jesus she put on a million layers!!! My new birth control has given me some pretty awful acne, I have never been this broken out, but I can not imagine how uncomfortable THAT MUCH make-up is!! One layer of foundation feels to heavy for me! You might as well wear a mask! Great for people with severe acne but I could never wear that much!
Her face cant breathe, her skin will never get better if she does that all the time.
Also, applying foundation with your fingers is not good. She is rubbing it with her hands, which the oils will change the color of the foundation. Also, the oils in her face will already do that to an extent so thats good she's using primer, but seriously, she applied 1 antioil, 1 primer, 2 foundations, and like what, 4 powders? Then a setting powder, and then sprayed with finishing spray. That doesnt include the foundation, countouring and all the lips and eye stuff she does. THATS HORRIBLE. But i do also want to say that when her face was bare, did you see the embarrassment, shame, and sadness in her face and voice? She was so mortified. I just wish she would realize by wearing bare, and being on a strict regime, with a dermatologist's help, her skin would be a LOT healthier, and she would have to wear less makeup. BUT i can see she is in the beauty industry, and it would take ATLEAST 60 days for her skin to be in great shape, so i can see why that might not be an option in her line of work. Poor girl, cant win for losing
I believe there is something going on inside her body that is making her break out so much.
I think she should see an ND.
Yes I could...mostly because I don't have acne and only get the ocassional black head by my hair line because of the hat I wear at work. I also hardly wear make up...just mascara and eyeliner when I'm going out...so not wearing it wouldn't bother me so much.
