If you're like most of America, you've eaten a little too much over the last week, and now it's time to face the music.
You're packing a few extra pounds right now, and until you can manage to get to the gym and sweat the extra weight off, the waistband of your skinny jeans just might be cutting off circulation to your brain.
I can't help your blood flow, but I do have a few tips on how to at least camouflage that excess baggage.
Rule number one?
Wear black. Lots and lots of black. There's no color that's more slimming.
You could opt for the Lanvin ensemble to your left from Neiman Marcus, which will run you about $4,150. (It's on sale. Quit whining) ... or you could go with something a little cheaper. It's totally up to you.
Black is your friend right now and don't you forget it.

Rule number two? Stick with heels. Putting on a pair of high heeled shoes or boots, like these hawt riding boots (Alexander McQueen, $2,095), will immediately elongate your legs, improve your posture, and make you look trimmer.
Rule number three? Spanx. It really is a girl's best friend. Spanx will instantly take off five pounds, no questions asked. I'm particularly fond of the Hide and Sleek Hi-Rise Panty (eBay, $36). And while it's more expensive than Assets, it's totally worth the money. I've tried both and Spanx shapewear is infinitely more comfortable.
Want to know why this woman's smiling? Because her v-neck sweater (Couture Candy, $297) makes her look slimmer! It's true, ladies, and it's also rule number four. Wear v-necks -- they elongate and narrow your frame. Just like that!
Rule number five? Learn to use contouring makeup. A kit like this Smashbox Contour Palette (Smashbox, $45) will help you shade and highlight your way to an angular face and hollow cheekbones. SCORE.
Rule number six? Get yourself a fake bake. Whether you rub a little self-tanner on your legs or opt for a full-body spray mist tan (I like VersaSpa, personally), a golden glow will instantly make you look slimmer. Just don't overdo it!

Its easier to keep yourself fit throughout winter than having to lose 20 lbs all at once in the summer.
I like the sweater!
I agree with the tan it really does work
Wear a really, really well fitted bra- if you're wearing the wrong size wear you'll instantly look 2 sizes smaller when your girls are up where they belong.
I've dropped 30 pounds in 3 months through changes in my diet and eating habits. I noticed my face slimming down and decided to make that change stand out even more by contouring it but every kit on the market was too dark (I'm so fair that I make goth kids jealous), so I contour with a light blush, light bronzer and my favorite highlight eyeshadow ("sand" from Lorac).
Like!
Work-out and eat right:)
A friend of mine says, "I'll wear black until they make something darker."
