You Won't Believe How Much This Starbucks 'Spill' Tee Costs

StarbucksBelieve it or not, Starbucks is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

(Starbucks is older than I am? WHO KNEW?)

To commemorate this momentous occasion, the coffee brewer has commissioned three t-shirts from three different avant garde designers.

Designer Alexander Wang chose to decorate his commemorative t-shirt with a coffee spill.

I'm not even kidding.

And if you think that's a bit crazy, just wait 'til you find out how much it costs!

This stunning tee can be yours for the low, low price of ...

Why? Because a lot of work went into this design, that's why! *Haughtily flips cashmere scarf over shoulder*

According to Wang's design team:

"When Starbucks and the CFDA approached us with this project, the first thing we thought of what everyone tries to avoid -- spilled coffee on a t-shirt. This turned into the design, hoping people would have fun with it."

Yes, Alex, it's a "fun" idea.

But I'm not sure coffee stains will ever be a fashion statement.

The good news? You probably already have this t-shirt in your closet (or dirty clothes hamper) if you're a mom. Who knew it was the latest "thing" in fashion?

Would you buy this t-shirt?
