Miss Piggy Finally Reveals Her Style Secrets

miss piggyIt seems like since the beginning of August, we've all been receiving fall fashion tips from everybody and their mother. Be it editors, designers, or bloggers -- everybody has got an opinion on the hottest autumn trends and the absolute must-haves for the cooler months.

It's getting a little boring, no? I mean, we get it, polka dots are in.

So, to shake things up a bit, I thought we'd turn to someone a little more ... unconventional for fall style advice. I thought we'd turn to ... Miss Piggy.

Miss P, who was all over the New York Fashion Week scene, was kind enough to sit down with some bloggers to talk about her upcoming movie and, more importantly, to reveal her top four fashion secrets. Ladies, take notes.

Tip 1: Never wear anything that requires a hoist to get into. Interesting. I mean, I never really thought about that -- and using a hoist does really cut into getting ready time. I can't tell you how many times I've left my house without eye makeup because the hoist took up longer than I thought it would.

Tip 2: There is no such thing as too much accessorizing. Okay, so this is a new one. I was always under the impression that you shouldn't overdo it with the accessories. What Miss Piggy says, goes, though. Tomorrow it's four necklaces, twelve bracelets (on each arm), ten rings, and a pair of dangly earrings.

Tip 3: If it’s expensive, it fits. I like this one. It's the perfect excuse to finally buy that Hermes scarf I've been eyeballing. Although, I guess scarves always fit anyway. Whatevs, I'm buying it.

Tip 4: Style comes in all shapes and sizes. Therefore, the bigger you are, the more style you have. Love! 'Cept I'm on the smaller side. So, what does this mean for me, Miss P? Am I not as stylish as my more voluptuous friends? Is bigger the new black? Will I randomly wind up on some sort of "Worst Dressed" list or as a "Fashion Don't" in Glamour? I don't want that! What should I do, Miss Piggy, what should I do?!

Okay, so there are a few holes in her tips, but for the most part, they're pretty useful, no?

How much do you love Miss Piggy?
