The newly-single Jennifer Lopez was looking lovely on the playground with her three-year-old daughter recently.
When I see J. Lo out and about, I just assume her clothes cost a lot more money than I'm willing to spend, but the truth is that the shirt she's wearing here is part of her new collection for Kohl's, set to debut in September.
This embellished knit tee will retail for $48.
The skirt, sadly, is not part of the collection (but I'm loving it).
Are you excited about Jennifer's new collection?
Tell me if you'll shop it after the jump!
As for me, I guess you could say I'm reasonably hopeful about the line. However, truthfully most celebrity clothing lines end up being a little bit out there for my tastes.
What's really interesting about this collection is that it comes not just from Jennifer Lopez, but also Marc Anthony. According to The Huffington Post:
The duo will no longer be promoted as "the first celebrity couple to simultaneously design collections for one retailer," and the lines are now being advertised as two separate collections, supposedly the plan from the start.
Mkay.
Regardless of billing, if it's cute and well-made, people will buy it. I'll be interested to see more of the collection when images become available.
In the meantime, you can learn more about it at the Kohl's website.

No. Her other attempts were horrible. Plus, I don't shop at Kohls.
No I hate Kohls and her style is stupid!
Before Beyonce's line came out J.Lo Jeans were the only pants that fit right. I guess I'll give the clothes a shot.
nope don't like her style or kohl's because they really don't have cute things in my size.
I buy whatever I want, where ever. I really dont care who its from or where its from. If its cute I'll buy it if not then no.
Meh. We'll see. I pretty much only go to Kohl's if they're having a sale and I have a coupon. I bought something from their Vera Wang collection (which I used to think was hideous) a couple weeks ago so who knows? Maybe JLo's line will surprise me.
