Neiman Marcus has an online preview of The Book, one of my favorite fashion catalogs for fall.

The retailer spares no expense on its elaborate photo shoots for this particular catalog, and since NM buyers have carefully scoped out the trends for fall, it's a good place to get a first look at what will be hot this upcoming season.

One of the biggest trends is colorblocking -- mixing contrasting colors for maximum effect.

Fur (or faux fur) is still hot this fall. You can get the look with a fur handbag, fur accents on a jacket or coat, or a fur vest. I invested quite a bit into a luxurious faux mink fur vest last winter ... THANK GOD I can wear it again this year!

Wine-colored hues are going to be big this season and I'm excited about this one! This is a pretty shade on so many women.

Pumps are in, and if you're like me, you already have at least a few pairs in your closet. Go pump crazy with your bad Betty Draper self!

Leather is back and bigger than ever. If you can't afford the full jacket, look for clothing with leather trim.

Finally, black and white is going to be a hot color combination. YESSSSSS.
