We've all heard our fair share of disputable "fashion rules." You know, like don't wear white after Labor Day, don't mix blacks and blues, and never "match" loud stripes with polka dots. But I refuse to listen to the critics who say there are fashions you can't do when you hit a certain age. Like dressing in red, for example.

Exhibit A: Nicole Kidman. Do you see how outstanding she looks in this fiery cocktail dress she wore at the premiere of director Wayne Wang's Snow Flower and the Secret Fan? The Elie Saab number was form-fitting and age-appropriate, and made her look like a total knockout. Two words: Bomb. Shell. Need I say more?
