As far as I'm concerned, there's almost nothing Kate Middleton, I mean Catherine, I mean the Duchess of Cambridge can wear that doesn't make us all sigh and say, "Wowwwwww, she's so prettyyyy!" And what she chose to wear on her final day in Canada was no exception. A very flirty, floaty canary yellow dress by Jenny Packham is considered a departure from Kate's usual tailored, structured style. And what an awesome change of pace it was. That burst of sunny yellow brightened up every single shot she was in. Until ... !
The Duchess suffered several "wardrobe malfunctions" caused by the windy day, and her skirt didn't seem to want to stay down. Although, I would say of all malfunctions a royal beauty could have, the retro "Marilyn" moment is probably the least troubling.
And on some level, I gotta say, it's a bit reassuring for the rest of us. Kate seems like the most polished, poised woman in the whole world, but when it comes to a windy day, her hair and her dress are just as out of control as ours would be!
Do you consider this a "wardrobe malfunction"?
