Christina Hendricks Leads the Way in Making Curvy Cool

Christina HendricksI received the latest issue of Lucky in the mail today and I'm loving the cover.

It's Christina Hendricks, and she's looking fab.

I love seeing shots like this of Christina, because it reminds me of what looks good on curvy, voluptuous women.

Too often, women with Christina's build are encouraged to cover up in loose-fitting, voluminous clothing. The truth is, though, if you've got hourglass curves, girl, you need to work them.

(Shapewear doesn't hurt, either.)

I think Christina is doing more to promote the sexiness of full-figured women than anyone in Hollywood right now.

What about you?

Inside the magazine, Christina dishes on how she dresses to accentuate her positives. She tells Lucky:

I have to be careful about my proportions and keep it simple. What works for me is structure and something that shows my waist.

Other interesting facts about Christina from the article:

  • She loves to knit, cook, and collect pincushions.
  • She's naturally blonde.
  • She loves buying vintage items on eBay.
  • She and her husband are planning a swimsuit line with good bra support for "women with breasts."

Pincushions? Knitting? Is it possible to love Christina Hendricks any more than we do already? I think so!

There's lots more on dressing Hendricks-style in the August issue of Lucky, but in the meantime --

What do you think of the impact Christina Hendricks is having on fashion and Hollywood?
