Some of my favorite fashionistas are rocking a look that many of you probably already have in your closet: chambray and denim, often worn together.
Check out Reese Witherspoon in this cute chambray dress, complete with a rope belt. Not long after this photo was taken, she was spotted again, this time pairing a chambray shirt with denim skinny jeans.

J.Crew featured two distinct chambray/denim looks in its June catalog. Here, the Denim Western Shirt ($98) is worn over the Chambray Tuxedo Cami ($69.50) and paired with the Sidewalk Short ($65). This just shows that you can wear all types of blue together this season and get away with it!

Stylelist has a helpful post on how to wear denim on denim (or chambray) without looking like... well... my father-in-law. Check it out if you need more tips on rocking this look.
And of course, I can't let you go without showing you a few more of my favorite denim and chambray pieces:
I've had my eye on this Bardot Dress (Talbots, $59.24 on sale) for months. At that price (it was $159 originally), it's only available in a few sizes, so if you can wear it, GO FOR IT.
These Chambray Shorts (Arden B, $19.50) are super cute. I've had great luck with Arden B. shorts - They're inexpensive, not too bulky, and don't give me camel toe- And if you're a bit body conscious, try wearing them under tunic tops. That's what I do!
This Chambray Sightseer Skirt (Madewell, $98) proves it's cool to wear what your sixth grade art teacher used to wear!
J'adore this Aryn K. Chambray jacket (Piperlime, $84).
If Reese had seen this adorable Esprit Dress (Zappos, $79.50) I'll bet it's what she would have been wearing!
This Chambray tank (Quiksilver, $39.50) would give you a lot of wardrobe options.
And this Chambray Dress (Lands' End Canvas, $69.50) just screams summer vacay!
As for denim, well surely you've already got some to mix in for the look!
What do you think of the chambray/denim trend? Will you wear it?
