I like seeing what moms like me choose to wear on specific occasions.
So I'm going to do the same for you.
Presenting What I Wore, an occasional series in which I show you a few different outfits I've worn recently, and tell you where I've worn them.
First up, high school graduation!
I wore this Boden dress, which I love so much, I just bought in a second color.
The sandals are from Ideeli, one of my absolute favorite flash sale sites.
I wore my hair up because I was feeling the distinctly early '60s vibe of the dress.

I wore this outfit to a recent meeting I attended with my daughter's teacher and school administrators. Don't worry, it was a good meeting! If it were bad, I probably would have worn black! The cardigan and skirt are both from J.Crew, the wedges were from Charlotte Russe last season, and were only $10!
I wore this outfit to a children's outdoor birthday party last weekend. The tunic top is actually a cover-up and came from last year's Liberty of London for Target collection. The pants are Minnie Pants from J. Crew -- still my favorite pair of pants! And the flats were also $10 from Charlotte Russe last year during one of their amazing shoe sales.
Finally, here's what I wore on a trip to the zoo with the kids last week. This is one of my "summer uniform" dresses. Each year, I buy several inexpensive, washable dresses that I can throw on for just about any summer activity. This particular dress was from LOFT last summer.
That's what I wore. If you have any questions about what to wear for one of your upcoming occasions, let me know in the comments and I'll try and help you with some ideas!
