Guess by Marciano has this cute Blair Vintage Dress on its website now for $168, which might suit an alternateen at prom, I guess, or a young 20-something at a New York cocktail party.
There's only one major problem.
It kinda sorta looks EXACTLY LIKE a dress Rodarte designed for Target.
Is the Guess dress a rip-off?

Here's the Rodarte for Target version:
If I were Rodarte, I would be COMPLETELY NOT OKAY WITH THE GUESS DRESS.
However, if you're a shopper, you should know that the Rodarte for Target dress is currently available online for a mere $15.74.
Not bad, eh? I just saved you $152!
The writers at Fashionista speculate that Guess may have thought it could sell the dress since the Rodarte for Target dress was released a few years ago and was no longer available for sale. That changed, of course, when Target re-released some of its most popular designer collaboration dresses, and the Rodarte dress was among them.
For shame, Guess! Come up with your own designs!
What do you think about these dresses? Did Guess rip off Rodarte?
