Kate Winslet is looking fabulous lately -- and her makeup has a lot to do with it.
The Lancome spokesmodel's on-trend makeover also works for just about anyone's face --
The look this season, modeled by Ms. Kate, is a dramatic, kohl-rimmed eye and natural-looking, glossy pink lips.
I love this look for date nights and parties, and you can do a softer version for daytime.
Want to know how to get this look for yourself, straight from the drugstore?
Start with a kohl eye pencil. As far as I'm concerned, these are all the same. This Rimmel Eye Pencil (Drugstore.com, $3.59) will do just fine. Use the pencil to line the inner rims of your eyes. If you're not good at this, lining the outer rims will do, too.
Create that smoky eye look with a brown eyeshadow. I like the color of this Antique Brown L'Oreal Infinite Color Eyeshadow (Drugstore.com, $4.79). I use this color on my own eyes, making it darkest on my lid so that it blends with my black powder eyeliner, then blending it with my finger so that it's lighter as I move up my eyelid. (You can see a full tutorial on how I get my smoky eye here.) You can also use this shadow with an angled brush to fill in your eyebrow line for dramatic, Winslet-esque eyebrows.
Line your lips with a nude liner. I prefer M.A.C. lip liner in Spice, but in a pinch, I use CoverGirl Outlast Smoothwear Lip Liner in Nude (Drugstore.com, $6.39). If it looks a little too dark on your lips, just rub your lips with a finger until you get a more natural look.
Alternately, you can fill in your lips with CoverGirl Outlast Lip Stain in Flirty Nude (Drugstore.com, $7.99), particularly if you want a more natural look.
Finish it off with the gloss I can't live without, CoverGirl Shine Blast Lip Gloss in Aglow (Drugstore.com, $6.49). Don't fret if you can't find this exact shade -- just choose the palest pink lip gloss you can find.
