Remember the "Infinite Collection" dress by Hayley Starr? The one that can be worn 60 different ways?
After the dress was mentioned on the Today show, Hayley Starr lowered the price from $325 to $49 for one day only, and a bunch of us bought it.
It took a long time for my dress to arrive in the mail, but once it did, I tried it out and showed you the results.
Well now, for one week only, the dress is on sale again, this time for $65.
Is it worth it?
Here's what I think.
Yes! It is totally worth $65! And it's also worth the wait! (If you didn't notice from the above photo, the dress will be delivered by 6/10/11.)
I have worn my dress several times now in several different ways and gotten lots and lots of compliments. As a review, here are a few ways I've worn it:
Strappy sundress!
One shoulder!

Keyhole halter!
Strapless!
Need more ideas?
Okay!
I'm not sure I'd buy this dress in anything other than basic black simply because you can get away with wearing it in black far more than you could with another color, but I am glad I made the purchase and, yes, I'd even pay $16 more for it if I had to do it again.
One note: I wear a size eight and I'd say it would fit up to about a size ten comfortably. Beyond that, I think your chest will be a bit much for the chest band portion of this dress. Also, it's billed as a potential maternity dress ... um. No. The hem is uneven so that you can turn it around and wear it in different directions, and with a pregnant belly, part of the dress's hem would hover dangerously near your crotch. Just sayin'.
What about you? Will you buy this Infinite Collection dress for $65?

No, but I did make one!
I'm a very beginner sewer, and this was my first project. It turned out amazing, and was so simple to do. Just cut a circle and sew some big ol' straps.
Guess what material I used? A jersey knit sheet. Solid gray. No one was the wiser and I got so many compliments on it. Fun to wear, too! $0.00

oh I could just kill you, now I went and bought one. Arrgh!!
Im so buying one but i cant decide what color! Gah!
Does it come with instructions on how to achieve the different looks?
I bought the Victoria's Secret version a few years ago, and have never been able to wear it. It is a cotton material that is too thick when you try to twist and tie the straps. Is this one better? And, what do you do about wearing a bra??
one size really fits 0-14???
I bought one in black during the Today Show sale and love it. I took it on a cruise last week and wore it as a halter dress, a strapless dress (both with heels) and even as a skirt with a pair of sandals. With different accessories, it looked different each time. My 12 year old daughter wants one. Her birthday is over the summer, so I'm going to buy the short one (the SM) for $55 and surprise her in July. Should get here by then!
In answer to your questions:
I think it would work great on petites.
The fabric is great for the styles, and stays in place.
I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over a size 10 (I'm a size 8 saying that) or anyone with really large boobs.
I wear a black strapless bra with mine. :)
