You all know I love showing you photos from some of my favorite catalogs with mom-friendly styles. Garnet Hill is another one of my faves.
Their prices are moderate, but if you can't afford them, don't worry. You can take inspiration from these photos and similar pieces at less expensive stores. These photos are very useful in determining how to style some of the season's hottest trends.
Take this silk tiered skirt (Garnet Hill, $88), for example. You're going to see these long, flowy skirts everywhere this spring and summer (I even saw a few at TJ Maxx last week).
It looks fabulous with this tie-front sweater and cutout leather belt. What a great way to rock the peasant skirt!

Don't let this season pass you by without getting a maxi dress like this long surplice knit dress (Garnet Hill, $98). They're an easy way to look great AND cover up your problem areas!
I really want to splurge this season on this ruffled sweater vest (Garnet Hill, $88), which I could wear even in the middle of summer and would take any outfit up a notch, style-wise. I love the idea of pairing a men's-style white shirt with crop leggings for spring, and putting a cute vest on top.
Many of you swear you can't wear shorts -- well, how about taking a pair of slim-fitting jeans from last season, cutting them off, and rolling them up to your knees? You'll instantly have a great summer look that will easily hide that cellulite! These shorts look brilliant with Garnet Hill's ruffled shirt and Admiral's Jacket (Garnet Hill, $128), which I COVET. Oh, and don't forget -- platform sandals with shorts or cropped pants will make you look even longer and leaner.
This essential summer dress (Garnet Hill, $128) is gorgeous. You really must treat yourself to a pretty floral dress this summer if you can. It will always look good on special occasions.
I love this knee-length petticoat skirt (Garnet Hill, $98). The work shirt layered over it gives it a modern edge, and the espadrilles keep the look ultra-current.
What do you think of these spring/summer styling ideas?
