I've been hearing about Botox parties here in Nashville for years -- but while they used to be only whispered about, lately I'm noticing that they've become commonplace. Several local spas offer party packages so that friends can get together at someone's home, have drinks, and get their Botox injections from a licensed aesthetician. To sweeten the deal, the hostess often gets her Botox for free.
Would you consider hosting or attending a Botox party? Have you been to one already?
From Michigan to Texas, you can easily find a doctor or spa offering Botox parties just about anywhere. Typically, you set your guest list in advance and each guest contacts the spa or doctor's office individually to decide what kind of Botox is right for her.
Here in Nashville, Bellevue Medispa will inject party guests both with Botox and other fillers, depending on what each guest wants. It must be a popular option at the spa, because there's a huge ad for it on the website's main page.
Personally, I've always wanted to go to a party to see what it's like, but I think I'd only be comfortable getting my Botox in a doctor's office -- if I were to get Botox at all!
Frankly, after seeing Kim Kardashian's Botox experience on her reality show, I'm afraid to ever have it done. It seemed like a bit of a nightmare. However, I do have friends who swear by it, so I totally understand why other women like it.
