The World's Most Expensive Manicure

Iced ManicureIs your regular manicurist leaving you with the blahs?

Then honey, you need an Iced Manicure!

If you opt for one, manicure company Cherish...ME promises to "adorn your hands in 10 carats of Diamonds!"

The price?

A cool $51,000.

Of course, Cherish...ME won't allow just anyone off the street to get an Iced Manicure ... if you want one for yourself, you must first meet with the company's owner and her "team of diamond manicurists."

Believe it or not, this isn't the only gem-encrusted manicure available out there. Leighton Denny, head manicurist at Urban Retreat in London, has been offering the Diamond, Sapphire, and Ruby Encapsulation since at least 2005. He'll embed 9 carats of gems in your nails for the comparatively low price of $32,000. Check it ...

According to Denny, Arab princesses fly to London just to get this manicure.

Bling. Bling.

Sometimes, I'm glad I'm not a billionaire. Staying on top of these kinds of trends must be EXHAUSTING.

Would you get a $51,000 manicure if you could afford one?

what a waste of money...in my area you can buy a nice little house for that much...worthless use of money when it could be going to charities or donated to low income programs that are in such bad need of funding right now...if you have nothing better to spend your money on then i pity you as for me if I could afford this manicure I would find a much better use for the money

I'd b too afraid of breaking one off. Can you get an insurance policy on them? Lol. I guess if you have that much $ you wouldn't care if you did.

While in MamaCortney's town you can buy a house with that kind of money, here you can put a nice down payment on a house (I don't think CA has $51,000 homes)...but like all the PP said, what a waste of money that can go to something more important, like families who can't aford to feed their children, much less a manicure.  Also, my other thought was "I would loose them so fast"

I dont like fake nails I sure as heck dont want to put diamonds on them. I love digging in the garden

My first thought was "I'd end up destroying those SO quickly!" which was almost immediately followed by "well, If you've got that kind of money to blow on a manicure, you're probably not doing your own cooking & cleaning!" lol

No, it is beautiful, but I am sure the same look can be accomplished with some sort of fake looking diamond or rubies, now that I would pay extra for, but I would never spend more than $40 for any manicure, period.

Ca does have homes for that cheap....not that nice but you can get one. For double the price you can get a brand new home on 5 acres in the country in CA

What a waste.

Total waste for those of us who do our own housework!! Those suckers would be falling off in no time in my household. I can think of better ways to spend that $ that would go to a better cause, like buying a house or donating it to the children's hospital or an animal shelter or paying for some destitute person's life-saving surgery. Never, EVER on my body for looks!!

I would pay this acutually I have paid this. Some people take pride in there physical appearance. Then upon my second thought I don't think most individuals can pay for this thankfully I can.
