Rachel Zoe made moms the world over gasp in shock and awe when she stepped out recently in a pair of Brian Atwood six-inch leopard print booties.
SHE'S NINE MONTHS PREGNANT.
Who said one can't rock 6 inch high leopard booties by @Brian_Atwood at 38 weeks pregnant!!! XoRZ
No one said you couldn't, Rachel ...
But some are definitely saying you shouldn't.

Since you can't really get a good look at the booties in the paparazzi shot, here's a photo of them:
I found it interesting that these booties actually come in a more sensible version with a lower stiletto heel -- but Zoe still opted for the sky-high ones. On her site, fans cheered on her choice of shoes:
I wore heels my whole pregnancy as I felt amazing (my son is 10 yo now). Everyone would say take them off it isn't safe yet for me it is where I am most comfortable!
You look beautiful! At 38 weeks, that's the only way to go - 6" leopard booties!
But when PopSugar posted a photo of a very pregnant Zoe in similar shoes, commenters weren't so pleased:
If she wants to wear 4-5 inch heels- it's her life BUT heels are actually dangerous for your back and spine during pregnancy- and I'm more than sure her doc told her that.
I don't see how she's in those heels though! I couldn't do that when pregnant with my son, or now for that matter!!
I have mixed feelings about this. I do believe in looking good while pregnant if that's your thing -- and obviously, Rachel Zoe has a right to wear whatever she wants.
On the other hand, it was only a few weeks ago that I wrote a very widely circulated post here about the number of celebrities who have stumbled and fallen in ridiculously high platform heels just like the ones Rachel Zoe has been wearing around town. Particularly at a time when flats are totally hot, wouldn't it be a good idea for Zoe to forgo the stilettos just for a few months, for the baby's sake?
