Pleated Dresses Take Center Stage and You Can Wear Them, Too!

Amanda SeyfriedHollywood's hottest celebrities are rocking a trend that's actually fairly mom-friendly, believe it or not:

The pleated dress.

The pleats in these particular dresses are horizontal, and while stick-thin girls like Amanda Seyfried (pictured here at her Red Riding Hood premiere) are opting for body-conscious versions of the look, fear not.

I found some really cute dresses with horizontal pleating that could be quite flattering even on those of us who are a little more full figured than the leggy Ms. Seyfried.

J. CrewThis Juliet pleated dress (J. Crew, $49.99 on sale) is generally $195! What a perfect dress for spring!
