Fashion Week is in full swing at Lincoln Center here in New York City. Models wearing Fall 2011 designer collections have strutted down the catwalks in things we'd love to own, and things we'd be embarrassed to even have in our garage sales.
Marc Jacobs, arguably one of the most famous fashion designers in our time, showed his Fall 2011 collection on Valentine's Day. While some of his looks were to die for, some of them made me wonder if the clothes served a water-resistant purpose. Like for, I don't know, people afraid of the rain. Or seal trainers. Rubber and latex is not a good look for me. Don't think it's for you either.
Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 misses after the jump.
Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. And sometimes you dress like one. In this case, Marc thought we'd want to look like the perennial acorn this fall.
These pants would be great if you like riding your bike at night through rain storms. No one would miss you.
It's like the Marshmallow Man stayed a little too long over the fire. He got burned, then someone rubbed Vaseline over his wounds. This jacket looks singed and yet glossy ... like puss. Ew.
See rest of the show and judge for yourself.
What do you think of these looks?
