For Women Only?
Most commenters have been civil, but some have gotten very upset over the issue of whether to shave or not to shave.
People. IT'S PUBIC HAIR. If the topic is sending you into an uncontrollable rage, perhaps you should let your fingers do the walking to the word 'psychiatrist' in the Yellow Pages ...
Anyway.
One other thing that got my attention in the comments was the number of men who say that plenty of dudes are going bare floor now, too.
What do you think of this idea? Is your husband or significant other doing it?
Do you want him to?
I don't believe that the idea of men keeping the area groomed is anything new. In fact, I'm hoping that most guys are smart enough to do it.
But more and more men, particularly those in their 20s, are taking it all off.
"Almost all my straight male friends, and most of the gay ones, shave too, and have for many years (I'm 48). Hair down there is just inconvenient and unsanitary," wrote Drew.
"I'm 44. My ambulance partner (the son of a former schoolmate) is 22 years old ... and TMI'ed me to say HE WAS SHAVED, TOO! We now call him 'Smooth Operator' and the entire company now knows. Everyone older than 30 is aghast to find this out about the young'uns," reported dad.medic.
"As a guy, I gotta say that I expect (and so does every guy I know) for a girl to have little to no hair, but the flip side is girls expect the similar from us now," wrote Chris.
My own aesthetician here in town does a booming "manscaping" business, so the trend is definitely catching on, even here in the Bible Belt -- but to me, the idea of a man being completely hairless is totally unappealing.
What do you think?

Funny how worked up people get over hair! or maybe it's just the direction people took with the topic. Either way it is amusing to see these two posts generating so much heat!
My man keeps it neat. I would be totally turned off by no hair, because it's the natural state for a child, not an adult. I have been with guys who try the 'house looks bigger if you trim the hedge' ....which is fine, if all I wanted to do was look at it.
And I disagree that size wouldn't make a shaved guy look 'young'. If it's big, it's always been big - a penis isn't like boobs - proportionately speaking, a man is born a king or a pauper.
My husband shaves regularly because he likes to. I don't ask him to, though i do prefer it when it comes to oral sex.
I like some hair on a man, but no nasty 'fro going on down there. That's gross. My husband and I have both groomed since before we were together, its not for each other, its for hygiene and our own comfort. However, I would be a little freaked if he started to grow it out lol. Both of these articles have just taught me that there might be a bunch of icky hairy people out there, lurking lol.
If the stubble on my husband's face within an hour of shaving would be anything like the stubble downstairs, I wouldn't be able to go near him. I can't kiss him if he shaves off his moustache, because the hair is so spikey it tears up my face. I don't want my more tender spots put into jeopardy.
As far as icky smells are concerned, there are these things called shower and soap.
Yeah im with marsha. smell can be eliminated by a shower
I like when he trims it close, but not shaved. I wouldn't mind too much if he shaved but I'm not a fan of the stubble. I certainly don't expect him to wax like i do.
While my hubby isn't completely bald; it's so short that he really may as well be. I have always preferred fr my guys to be really closely trimmed or bald.
While bare is kinda gross on a guy-keep it trimmed IMO...
Let's be honest-who want's hair up your nose or the infamous "gag" on a stray when in the midst of a certain performance.
Nuff said.
