Introducing Valerie

Charmed Valerie I went to a dinner Friday night with a group of bloggers from across the country and got to meet the most gorgeous woman named Valerie.

She has a style blog called Charmed Valerie and on it, she posts pictures of what she's wearing each day... and y'all.

Her style is affordable and TO DIE FOR.

Valerie said I could post some of my favorites here, so now for your viewing enjoyment...

I love this particular outfit because she took a summer dress and made it work for winter.

Charmed Valerie This is Valerie's 28th birthday outfit. It's even more impressive when you read how she put it together...

This outfit is deceiving, it looks like a long-sleeved dress but isn’t. It is my creative interpretation of a long-sleeved fringed dress. My necklace was a birthday gift from my sister (she got it at JC Penney). The dress is a lace halter-style mini-dress (I normally wear it with skinny jeans or leggings) that I got a Forever 21 a few years ago. Then I put a long-sleeved shirt (Forever 21) over that. THEN, I tied a fringed lace shawl over that. My shoes are Carlos Santana and I got them at Half of Half for $24 (originally $96).

Charmed Valerie You could totally rock this look, moms. The shirt is from Yummie Tummie, the skirt is from New York & Co. and the boots are Jessica Simpson. Total effect: AWESOMENESS.

She is super cute! I am definitely checking out her blog. Yeah, she's thin but I think many of these styles would work for women of many different body types.

What I like best is that she isn't spending hundreds of dollars for one outfit. Forever 21 is easily affordable for anyone and they do have things that work for women who aren't teenyboppers as well. The transition from teens and young 20's attire can be hard but outfits like these would look good on women older than that! Proves you don't have to lose your sense of style as you age.
