Former Baywatch babe Nicole Eggert has gained some weight since her "lifeguarding" days.
I'd wouldn't call her fat -- but apparently Hollywood begs to differ.
That's why she's the "hilarious" punchline of a new video on Funny or Die, in which she runs to save two men who are pretending to be drowning, only to be waved back to shore because she's too fat and not "hot" enough to save them.
I wasn't laughing as I watched this video. How about you? See it for yourself after the jump.
Here's the video:
I'm pretty confident about my body, generally speaking -- but after watching this video, I have to admit I felt ashamed of myself.
Motherhood has taken its toll on my tummy -- and if a blond, tanned, and still lovely Nicole Eggert is considered so fat that she can be mocked for her weight in a spoof video, I don't even want to imagine what people would say if I dared to hit the beach in a bikini in all my glorious imperfection.
In fact, this video is making me want to wear a burka the next time I go swimming.
I love a good joke, but I have to say I think this video offensive, demeaning, and worst of all, NOT FUNNY.
I'm pretty sure Nicole technically falls in a healthy weight category. Screw Funny or Die for making women everywhere who can identify with Nicole's "real" body feel like cows.
What do you think?

I didnt laugh either! And honestly if they would have put a bikini on her that actualy FIT, she would have looked pretty hot. It's the too tight bikini that gives the empression that she is 'fat'.. which she is NOT!
Does anyone else see the irony of Mr. Dunlapped-Over-My-Blue-Swimshorts calling HER fat?
Was it really supposed to be funny? Because if you don't watch it thinking it's meant to be humorous, it has a pretty good message. Given her confidence and f-u attitude over being mocked, I think it's really meant to empower women rather than demean them.
I also don't think she's fat, and if the suit fit better, she'd look good. Beautiful woman - her face is stunning.
Yes, it was supposed to be funny. And I think they added that part at the end so that women wouldn't be TOO pissed off. But this was a bit for a Chris Farley type. Not someone like Nicole. To me, that made it very awkward.
I don't see how anyone would find that funny. I think she looks great. She still had great skin...not like my stretchmarks after a twin pregnancy! She is very pretty.
I didn't think it was funny at all, but I found the ending very satisfying!!
Are you all serious or just trying to be nice? And was that really Nicole Eggert - I dont keep up much with Hollywood. While the video was just absolutely dumb and those two guys were really completely lame and have no right mocking people for being out of shape as they were totally out of shape themselves - that woman in the video does not look good and would not look good even if it were a different bikini she were wearing. I'm sure she looks fairly thin under some clothing, but she is nothing but flab - how can that be healthy? Why should someone feel good about themselves for being unhealthy? It's not about helping women have better self-esteem or accepting a "real woman's" body - it's about being healthy rather than being complacent and blaming children on an out of shape and unhealthy body and lifestyle. What's even more unfair is how moms who look great (like what you all consider the celebrity body due to money and personal trainers and chefs) are shunned by the "real women."
Actually, it IS about helping women have better self-esteem and accepting a real woman's boday, joymama. Just because a woman isn't completely toned from chin to toes doesn't make her unhealthy or unattractive, and doesn't mean she has a sendentary lifestyle or is complacent. But thanks so much for the judgement and conclusions from what I have to assume is someone with a perfectly toned and firm bod.
Unhealthy is reaaaaally stretching it, joymama. And I would argue that celebrity bodies aren't at all healthy- most are maintained with insane workouts, drugs and/or unrealistic diets. How is that healthy? When I think of enviably healthy women, I think of the ones I know who are committed to doing some sort of exercise for an hour 4/5 times a week and to maintaining a healthy diet. None one of them are a size zero, but all of them are definitely the picture of health.
