What to Wear if You Want to Look Good on Christmas Morning

FlickrOne moment that most of you will probably not be thinking about your sense of style is Christmas morning.

But you should.

Photos will be taken and, if you're unlucky, posted on Flickr for all the world to see.

Do you really want to be the one with the ratty hair, crusty eyes, sweatpants, and old, stained t-shirt? I didn't think so.

Here are a few tips to quickly get you ready for the big morning, even if your wake-up call comes at 5:00 AM...

Gap1. The night before, wear your best pajamas, or better yet, black yoga pants and a black t-shirt. Lay out a cardigan to throw on the next morning.

Trust me, your photos will look so much better this way than if you're caught in your robe.

Flickr2. When the kids wake you, send your husband to make coffee.

This is a hard and fast rule in our house. No presents may be opened until Hubs and I have mugs of coffee in hand.

And this gives you time to do the following:

Flickr3. Brush your teeth.

You'll be glad you did.

Smallflower4. Brush your hair.

Ditto.

Sephora5. Wash your face- or at least go over it with a washcloth and get the crusts out of your eyes.

It'll help you feel more awake at the ass crack of dawn.

M.A.C.6. If you have an extra minute to spare, dust on a little face powder and tinted chapstick or lip gloss.

Anything to eliminate splotchy face and dark circles for those candids your husband insists on taking, right?

Do you have a Christmas morning style plan drawn up?
