Flabby Armed Women Looking Hot in Strapless!

6

Jessica Alba was doing everything right at this week's world premiere of Little Fockers in NYC. Strapless dresses are sexy and sassy for the holiday season, especially when paired with the right makeup and the perfect sparkly shoes.

But let's be serious for a second: It's really freaking cold outside. And with the cool temps generally come a few extra pounds (for warmth purposes, of course!). No one's arms are in tip-top shape -- and lots of flab makes for awkward group photos.

Want to mimic the look? With a few easy alterations, you'll have a real functional, comfortable, and easy holiday look in no time.

Add a shrug: Whether you're looking to camouflage your arms or trying to keep things warm, adding a shrug or scarf to your look is an easy fix. Plus, different styles allow you to complement your ensemble or dress up your favorite little black dress with a few sequins.

From left to right: Cocoon Shrug ($59.50 from Ann Taylor Loft), Brushstroke Stitches Shrug ($39.50, Anthropologie), and Sequin Jacket ($139 on sale, Victoria's Secret).

Get a leg up: Adding a pair of tights to a look will keep your tootsies warm on a chilly night. No one wants to sprint to the door at their company holiday party (awkward much?) and these may just be your functional ticket to comfort.

From left to right: Floral Medallion Tight ($14, Urban Outfitters), Hue Tights in Glitter ($20, Macys), and Sparkle Pantyhose ($1, American Apparel).

Add some baggage: In my eyes, the only problem with a luxe holiday dress is that, generally, they don't have pockets. So obviously that means investing in the perfect clutch is totally acceptable. Metallics are in (see Jessica's above!) and snagging one of these bags will allow you to keep necessities close by and add some last-minute glam.

From left to right: Studded Satin Wristlet ($24.90, Express), Leatherette Sequin Clutch ($15.80, Forever 21), and Dangle Charm Clutch ($17.97, New York & Company).

Will you be making Jessica's look work for you this holiday season?
