Back when Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen launched Olsenboye for JC Penney, I looked at the line, but decided not to write about it, since it looked suitable only for 12- to 14-year-old girls.
But when I saw a pair of Olsenboye shoes in a magazine recently, I decided to take another look -- and am I glad I did!
While the Olsenboye clothing pickings are still slim, there are several cute, affordable pairs of shoes in the line that look far more expensive than they are.
Check out this Ivy Platform Bootie (JC Penney, $39.99 on sale) for example. This neutral shoe is a totally hot look that would work with lots of outfits.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better price on over-the-knee boots than these Camden boots (JC Penney, $59.99). Love the heel, too.
This Pepper platform heel (JC Penney, $60) is a showstopper, and also comes in black, blush, and silver glitter!
This Rugby Boot (JC Penney, $54.99) has an expensive, distressed look and would go great with jeans.
Ooh, and check out the Ivy Platform Bootie (JC Penney, $39.99) in black sequins! *Heart*
I also liked this Military Backpack (JC Penney, $26.99) from the line, which is both practical and on trend.
And finally, these rouched leg pants (JC Penney, $19.99) have potential, both for the rouching, which keeps them from looking quite so skin tight, and for the fact that they're double knit, so they're heavier and provide a bit more support than leggings. They retailed for $50, so they're at a great price right now!
