We all know Yummie Tummie makes THE (in my humble opinion) go-to shapewear cami, not to mention some seriously hot underthings and my favorite pair of leggings ever.

So I guess it was only a matter of time before Yummie Tummie came out with a little black dress.

In honor of its shapely new LBD, Yummie Tummie asked me and a few other bloggers to take its new Ella Rae dress and style it several different ways.

Those of you who know me at all have got to know this challenge was right up my alley -- I'm all about the LBD and would wear one every day if I could get away with it.

Read on to see how I styled my basic black dress from Yummie Tummie and get some ideas on how to update your own LBD, whether you're wearing it to work, on a date night, or in the infamous car rider pick-up line ...

Here we have the basic Yummie Tummie Ella Rae dress on a non-model (ME), worn with black tights and my favorite new pair of shoes this season -- Pour La Victoire booties (which I got for under $100 before you go all crazazy on me over the price).

Put a tailored jacket over your LBD and add a sensible pair of stiletto heels and ... voila! You have a perfect outfit for the workplace! This jacket is "vintage" St. John from my mom; the heels are by Nine West.

For a more casual look, wear your LBD with a denim jacket and some cute slouchy boots. The denim jacket is from Gap and the boots are by Dansko. This is pretty much my car rider pick-up line uniform, but I wear leopard print clogs on warmer days.

Alternately, you could wear the LBD/denim jacket combo with a hot pair of platform heels and have a great outfit for a date night. These heels are by Jessica Simpson.

Finally, add a pile of necklaces (mine is from Lia Sophia) and a hot pair of booties and you have perfect cocktail party attire!

Frankly, I really don't see a reason to take this dress off!
