Angelina Jolie, are you wearing your nightie again?
Angelina Jolie, are you wearing your nightie again?Angelina Jolie recently admitted to Vogue that she's been known to wear a nightgown from bed to her kids' school and onto a business meeting.
Wow, this little admission on Angelina's part is going to make me check out her style picks a lot more closely from now on (for instance, is that dress to the right a really nice nightie? and is this really a dress or sleepwear?). I mean, how do we know she doesn't do the nightie thing even more often than she's letting on?
Wear a nightgown out of the house ... I would never ... or would I? Let's consider some of the choices, shall we?
So Angelina Jolie graces the cover of the December issue of Vogue magazine, and inside, here's what she admits about her everyday wardrobe choices:
Some days, yes, I have the nightgown that looks like a dress that I can sleep in and pick the kids up at school. And maybe take a meeting if I switch into heels.
Of course, who can blame her really? It sure is tempting with all the beautiful sleepwear, some of it so attractive, in fact, you'll be dying to wear it outside your home.
5 Fetching Nightgowns That Might Pass
Shhh, we'll never tell ...
Oh, Jardin Bleu Cami Dress ($44) from Plum Pretty Sugar, yes, I would. Would you?
This Diamond Breeze Chemise ($68) from Anthropologie is pretty enough to pair with heels and a cropped fur jacket and hit the town.
Taylor Momsen wore a lace number reminiscent of this Lacie Boatneck Tunic (was $38; now $34) from Victoria's Secret out on the town, and so can you! Unfortunately, you have to pay a little extra attention to your undergarments on this one.
Oscar de la Renta Satin Antique Lace Long Gown (was $144; now $86.40) at Saks Fifth Avenue in dreamy mineral blue, it certainly is tempting.
I wouldn't strut about in this sexy nude-colored Slip Dress ($170) from Need Supply, but someone certainly should. Angelina?
Have you ever worn a nightgown out and pretended it was a dress? Would you?
