Italian Town Bans Mini Skirts. What Would You Ban in Your Town?

Don't wear this in Castellammare di Stabia...The mayor of Italian seaside town Castellammare di Stabia is planning to ban micro mini skirts and other potentially skanky clothing.

The ban is intended to "restore urban decorum and facilitate better civil co-existence," according to Mayor Luigi Bobbio.

But some Italian women aren't buying it. They've taken to the streets of Castellammare di Stabia to protest the mayor's proposed ban.

Mayor Luigi says not all mini skirts will be banned ... just the really slutty ones. (My words, not his.)

I'm thinking the woman I saw once with her butt cheeks hanging out the back of her mini would probably be ban material.

Anyway, this story got me thinking ...

What major fashion faux pas would you ban in your town if you had the power?

I'll tell you what I'd dearly love to outlaw ... after the jump.

The Kate Gosselin Hairdo
This hairdo right here is what I'd outlaw ... otherwise known as "The Gosselin." Because despite the fact that even Kate Gosselin has moved on from her signature 'do, I continue to see women around here wearing it.

And it does not look good.

It never looked good.

Do you want the truth?

It looks very, very bad.

BANNED in Lindsayville.

Other than that, I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to other people's fashion choices. That particular haircut is just like nails on a chalkboard for me.

What about you? Is there a fashion trend so irritating, so reprehensible in your eyes that you'd make like an Italian mayor and BAN it if you could? Tell me what you want to put an end to in the comments!
