Hot Trend: The Knitted Beard

Knitted BeardEtsy's latest hot, handmade trend?

The knitted beard!

Yes, ladies, why stop with a knitted beanie hat this winter, when you can get a knitted beard to go along with it?

CAN'T. STOP. LAUGHING.

Click through to see more hilarious photos and find out how you can get a knitted beard (or pattern) to call your very own.

It would make a very funny holiday present, you know ...

This lovely beanie beard is actually for sale as a pattern on Etsy for the bargain price of $5!

But perhaps you want a knitted beard that's already been made. I've got your hook up!

EtsyThis handsome yellow and gray beard beanie (Etsy, $48) has a nice handlebar flair to it ...

Bearded HatOr go for a more streamlined look with this Amazing Bearded Hat (Etsy, $40).

EtsyThis Cookies n Cream Beardling (Etsy, $50) is maybe a teensy bit scary ...

Bearded HatThis Wild Man Bearded Hat (Etsy, $55) is my favorite. Oh no. Now I have a favorite bearded hat.

Bearded BeanieEven your kids can get in on the action with this Little Man Bearded Lumberjack Hat (Etsy, $46). That's one way to keep their faces warm ...

EtsyOr forgo the hat entirely and opt instead for a punchy purple beard (Etsy, $40). Nice for those warmer fall days, don't you think?

Would you wear a bearded hat? Would you buy one for someone else?

Too funny! I passed the links on to the knitters in the family as gift ideas for the men or boys in the family. No way I'd wear them!!!

I try to keep excess hair off of my face, not put fake hair on.

I'd buy one if they were less expensive.  :)

I think they're quite clever... in place of a ski mask on a guy, could be pretty funny and cute. I especially love the little boy one. On the women though, not so much.
