Givenchy is running a series of fairly provocative ads in the fall fashion mags- but I've hardly noticed the fact that the models all look as if they're about to ditch their high-priced duds in favor of a long-legged orgy of impossible beauty...
Instead, I'm salivating over the clothing-- Almost all the looks featured in these ads are classy, on-trend, and incredibly easy to copy in real life.
Read on to see the designer looks- and real life ways to wear them, starting with this shot!
Take Givenchy's camel coat, red top, tailored pants and leather booties and make it your own! I found this AK Anne Klein Camel Coat (Macy's, $99.99 on sale), a lightweight cotton slub turtleneck in red (LOFT, $26.50), tailored True Straight Pants (GAP, $49.50), and Matte Leatherette Boots (Forever 21, $29.80). BOO YA!
Sure, these Givenchy (pronounced ZHEE-von-SHAY, by the way) models look hot in all black with sheer tops and oversized satchels...
But they'll have nothing on you in your Satchi Hooded Coat (Nordstrom, $179.90 on sale) over a lace sheer top (Bebe, $98) or the more modest and less expensive lace puff sweater (Arden B, $29 on sale). Wear it with a knotted waist pencil skirt (Forever 21, $17.80), opaque black tights (LOFT, $14.50), a killer pair of black suede platform sandals (Footnotes Online, $99 on sale), and a big black satchel (Nine West, $79.99) and you're every bit as Givenchy as... Givenchy!
Top it all off with Givenchy Interdit Lipstick in Absolutely Irresistable Red (Sephora, $28) and you've got the look.
Or get the look for less with Revlon In the Red lipstick (Drugstore.com, $7.99).
Now you are Givenchyfied! Would you wear any of these looks?
