My Top Five Style Icons. Who Are Yours?
I look at a lot of celebrity photos for this gig.
Most Hollywood starlets are pretty hit or miss when it comes to fashion, but a select few nearly always seem to get it right.
One of those style-savvy stars is Reese Witherspoon, whom I think of as the ultimate style icon for the busy mom.
Whether she's dressed up or dressed down, Reese nearly always looks incredible, and many of her outfits could easily be copied by ... um, me and you!

Love her. Hate her. Who cares? I've never watched a show Olivia Palermo was in and I only took a passing interest in her feud with Tinsley Mortimer. But I love, love, love Olivia's style. She is always pushing the envelope and more often than not, she gets it exactly right. She definitely inspires me to try new things.
Kate Moss is just the coolest. Not only does she look great every time she goes out, she's now been tapped to design her own line for Topshop. Kate is the ultimate wild child, and it shows in all her fashion choices.
Rachel Bilson always, always, always looks amazing! She's a top-notch accessorizer and I'm insanely jealous of her physique. Have some babies, why don'tcha, Rach?
Finally, Jessica Alba has had a few missteps here and there, but I often admire her casual mom style when she's on one of her many outings with daughter Honor. She always looks casual yet elegant, and definitely has her own sense of style.

I love your choices. My favorites are Claire Danes and Sienna Miller. Sienna can have a few "out there" styles, but she provides a lot of inspiration for me.

All great style icons. I think my personal favs would be Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garner. They are on the more casual side of things but always look put together and stylish. I think part of mom style is definately comfort!

My style icons are women I know. Those that can put together a great outfit on the cheap; those who know what flatters them and what doesn't; those who wear what they like and couldn't care less what is currently in style. I can enjoy looking at what the celebrities are wearing, but my budget, figure, and lifestyle are completely different.
My 92-year-old friend always looks pretty and feminine, as I imagine she has for nearly a century. I'm choosing her as my top icon.
