One new trend for fall I've been coveting is leather skinny pants or leggings...
From Mary-Kate Olsen to Victoria Beckham, who wore hers on a recent appearance at The View, celebrities are getting in on this trend in a big way- and it's easy to see why.
They really put a twist on the leggings look, which once again is a staple for the fall season.
And while they're trendy now, a good pair of leather pants is always good for some occasion or other, at least once a year.
The problem with my heart's desire is that leather leggings and pants are sooooo expensive- We're talking an average cost of $300.
Fortunately, I've found the look for less! Want to see it?
The affordable leather leggings I'm most likely to buy are these Leather and Ponte-Knit Leggings (Spiegel, $99). They're not cheap, but they're a much better price than any other leggings I've seen- plus, Spiegel is always offering 30% off sales, so I'm going to try to catch them during one of those. I also love that they fit more like skinny pants than skin-tight leggings.
For those who are super-short on cash, check out these Mossimo Black Women's Faux Leather Leggings (Target, $29.99) Not bad for $30, eh?
Michael Kors offers a more upscale version of the look for less with these faux leather leggings (Saks Fifth Avenue, $79.50). DO NOT wear these as pants. Or I will have you committed.
So- What do you think of leather leggings? Yay? Or Nay?
