There is nothing like a sexy bra to make you feel like a million bucks, but the ability to save both your life and the life "of a man of your choosing"? Well, there's no price on that.
That is just what the Emergency Bra purports to do.
At first glance, it looks like any other sturdy, red bra, but in an emergency (think Chernobyl), it has the ability to convert to a face mask for both the wearer and a person she chooses.
It may seem funny, but in an emergency, this bra -- winner of the 2009 Ig Nobel Prize in Public Health -- could save your life.
Available in sizes 32B to 40C, since apparently large breasted women never have emergencies, the bra was invented by Dr. Elena Bodnar who witnessed the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant meltdown in 1986, which inspired the bra.
The bra will be at the MIT Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as of September 28, but is available for purchase as well. For $29.99.
So, spend $30. It just might save your life. And if not, you and the man you are with can enjoy taking it off together.
Would you buy this bra?
