Okay, I'm all for tattoos, I think it's a fantastic way of expressing yourself ... but exactly how much of "yourself" do you even know at the young age of 17?
Let's hope Miley Cyrus is mature for her age, because she just got her third tattoo.
Her first ink is across her ribcage that says "Just Breathe" as a tribute to a close friend who died. Her second one, which was done only a couple of months ago, says "Love" on the inside of her ear. And now, she's rocking a simple heart outline on her right pinky finger.
Not to sound like her mother (or maybe someone should), but tattoos are, obviously, permanent. A lot of thought should go into what you want when you get one, as this is something that you're going to have to look at for the rest of your life. And do you really know what you want when you're 17?
I remember my mom saying those exact same words to me after I got my first ink immediately after turning 18. I don't regret it, and am still glad I got it, but I couldn't imagine deciding upon more body art than that one and being happy with all of them for the rest of my life.
I worry that she's getting these done for the mere sake that "she can." A heart here, a smiley face there ... all is fine and dandy until you're 35 years old and looking like your high school notebook with a bunch of hearts on your body.
What are your thoughts? Do you think Miley's too young to be getting this many tattoos?

i am just not a tattoo person
I LOVE tattoos- I got my first at 15 ( in memory of my grandfather who died 2 years before) BUT I also thought about the EXACT design and placement that I wanted for over a year. I don't feel tattoos are just something to get because they look neat. You should think it through. I'm now 19 and have two tattoos and planning a third- all of which are packed with meaning.
Cute, but she has to live with that the rest of her life, on her finger, no where you can cover up unless with makeup.
I have 2 tattoos, but you would never know. One is on my hip & the other the bottom of my neck - my hair hides it. 3 at 17? A littler crazy if you ask me!
What is sooo worng with a heart tatoo on your finger? At least she didnt get "slippery when wet"tatooed on her crotch lol
