Olivia PalermoLove her or hate her, you have to admit that The City star Olivia Palermo has some serious style.

With this single appearance at Target's Kaleidoscopic event in New York this past week, she managed to rock not one, not two, but EIGHT major fall trends: stripes, ruffles, leather, dress shorts, the ponytail, the clutch, the cocktail ring, and a touch of red with her shoes.

I'm loving this look, particularly because it's one that a lot of women could pull off.

Read on to find out how to copy Olivia's fantastic fashion sense on a non-socialite's budget ...

Lord & TaylorStart with a classic ruffled shirt, like this Kate Hill Pleated Ruffle Woven Shirt (Lord & Taylor, $49.99 on sale).

TopShopAdd (if you dare) a trendy pair of black leather shorts. These Leather Tab Shorts (Topshop, $136) are a GREAT price for the look -- most leather shorts are going for about $350 on average. If you don't like the leather look, an ordinary pair of black dress shorts would work too. I covet J.Crew's wool Tuxedo short (which is on sale right now for $65!).

Labor of LoveTop it off with an eye-catching striped jacket, like this Labour of Love Striped Cotton Blazer (Farfetch, $126 on sale).

EndlessAccessorize with a simple clutch. I like this Magid Quilted Box Clutch (Endless, $65).

Old NavySlip on a pretty cocktail ring. This particular cocktail ring (Old Navy, $6.50) is a great price!

Max StudioAnd give your look a whimsical touch with a pair of deep red shoes. I'm loving these Dressy Flats (Max Studio, $48 on sale), with their distressed-looking eyelash trim. CUTE!

Voila! You've been Palermo-cized! Congratulations!

What do you think of Olivia's look?
