More looks from the Tucker for Target collection have been revealed ...
... and now that I've seen them, I can't help but believe that Tucker designer Gaby Basora somehow managed to raid my fourth grade art teacher's closet, ca. 1985.
All of these preview pieces (including this $59.99 signature dress in diamond print) will go on sale in limited quantities tomorrow on Gilt.com, where Target will open its first online "pop-up store" at 12 p.m. EST.
You can join Gilt Groupe and shop the sale by heading over to this special link.
In the meantime, check out these pictures from Gilt Groupe's Tucker for Target lookbook. You already know what I think ... what say you?

This camisole in butterfly print (Target, $22.99) could be cute with jeans and perhaps a cardigan, but the Tie Front Blouse in Lawn Bird Print (Target, $24.99) frightens me with its ugly.

My art teacher would have totally loved both this signature blouse in floral print (Target, $29.99) and mosaic print (Target, $29.99). Me? Not so much.

Many of this collection's dresses, including the signature dress in lawn bird print (Target, $59.99) seem to have noticeably uneven hemlines. That's just sloppy. On the right, this boucle dress in black (Target, $59.99) is unremarkable and overpriced, IMHO.

I'll admit, I could see someone rocking either this button-front dress in little flowers print (Target, $34.99) or this button-front dress in painted flowers print (Target, $34.99). Could it be you?

Both the velvet dress in burnout print (Target, $49.99) on the left and the camisole dress in butterfly print (Target, $34.99) on the right just don't seem like they would be flattering on most figures.
You probably can't tell from my writing (heh), but I'm just a little bit disappointed by this line -- particularly since it comes on the heels of Target's Liberty of London collection, which I fell for hook, line, and sinker. My daughter and I both have worn the Liberty of London collection all summer long and they've been among my favorite buys of the season.
I suggest that Target find more mainstream high-end designers for its future collections. Whom are you selling to, Target? A 20-something wannabe fashion designer in Brooklyn? (No offense to any readers who are 20-something wannabe fashion designers in Brooklyn! Hugz!) Or a suburban mom who's trying her best to be stylish and stay on budget?
I'm just sayin' ....
What do you think of these new Tucker for Target looks? Will you shop Gilt Groupe's preview sale tomorrow?

Blech. That boucle dress would make the wearer look bulky, I'm afraid. And no one wants that. Blech, blech, blech.
You can find prettier selections on the thrift store clearance rack for 99 cents. A 93-year-old friend of mine wouldn't wear these, and she can't see that well.
This is so disappointing. I was hoping the two outfits you showed us a couple of days ago were an aberration from the rest of the line. Unfortunately, they were representative of it.
nope. not for me!
