Miraclebody Jeans: The Lowdown

Miraclebody JeansBy now I feel like I've tried just about every pair of jeans on the market ... including PajamaJeans!

So when I received a free pair of Miraclebody Jeans to try out at the Getting Gorgeous event during BlogHer, I have to admit I was somewhat ho-hum about it.

The jeans promise to make you "look ten pounds lighter in ten seconds," a claim I found hard to believe.

But when I was trying on clothes yesterday, I decided to give my Miraclebody Jeans a try.

I put them on, and much to my surprise ...

I LOVED them.


I really, really loved them.

I'm not sure I looked ten pounds lighter, but I definitely looked and felt slim in my jeans (I had chosen the Skinny Minnie cut).

I loved that the jeans didn't lose their shape and comfortably snug fit, even after I'd worn them for a while.

I loved where the waistband ended (two inches below my navel), which, as it turned out, is the perfect amount of waistband to hold in your tummy without making you feel like you're wearing "mom jeans."

I loved the length, which was perfect worn long or rolled up a few times.

These are my new favorite pair of jeans, y'all, and I can tell already that I'm going to be wearing them all season long.

A couple of things to note --

These jeans are not cheap! They average at $110 per pair, which is a lot for me to spend on jeans. However, if you're the kind of person who likes to find one pair of fantastic jeans and wear them all year long, I think these would be worth the money.

Another thing to consider is that the waistband, while not ridiculously high, is high enough that I wouldn't wear these jeans with a shirt tucked in. I'm high waisted and never tuck in shirts anyway, so this isn't an issue for me. But it might be one for you.

If you're at the store and see these on the shelves, be sure to try a pair on -- I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results!
