Make sure you dodge black cats, look out for ladders, and don't break any mirrors -- today is Friday the 13th!
Even if you're not haunted by the superstition that comes one to three times a year, you might want to be prepared -- just in case. But fashionably, of course.
From top left, clockwise:
Dreamcatcher earrings: In Native American culture, dreamcatchers are supposed to catch the bad dreams of those who wear the tear-shaped objects.
Four-leaf clover: Find a four-leaf clover in a sea of clovers and you'll have good luck. Or wear it in a cute necklace.
Coin earrings: See a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck.
Wishbone necklace: We used to fight over the wishbone at the dinner table when I was a kid -- not exactly the sexiest tradition. But this necklace takes the carcass and makes it classy.
Rainbow bracelet: If you spot a rainbow in the sky, it's supposed to bring good luck.
Horsehoe necklace: Blacksmithing used to be considered a lucky trade, so since horseshoes were made by blacksmiths, people hung them on the wall for good luck.
Ladybug charm: A ladybug landing on you is good luck, but don't flick it off ... that'll bring bad luck.
Are you taking any precautions today? Have any good luck jewelry?

Awww, these pieces of jewelry are so cute! Esp the ladybug charm...I am obsessed with ladybugs!! Always believed that they brought good luck :) I actually have my wedding anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks, and this year my husband and I each created wish lists on MyRegistry.com so that way we knew exactly what gifts to get each other. When I come across cute finds like this ladybug charm, it makes me particularly glad that we decided to do this because we can add items from any store in the world to our anniversary wish lists on MyRegistry.com. Perfect gift for me to add onto my registry on Friday the 13th!
