These days, all that glitters doesn't have to be gold ... but it doesn't hurt either.
As I mentioned back in June, sequins on clothes and accessories are hot right now and beauty products are getting in on the action, too. My favorite shimmery beauty products are subtle ones in nude or peachy hues with golden undertones.
Check out the beauty products with serious sparkle that make my glowing review list.
Shu Uemura Gem Glam Pressed Eye Shadow ($20): Let the light catch your peepers and make them sparkle with this gold non-fading shadow.
Nars Lip Gloss ($24): Paint your pucker with one of their newest colors ... Luster. It's a sheer golden apricot with just enough shimmer -- perfect for the end of summer leading into fall.
Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc ($38): Luminating blush/bronzer palette with four gorgeous shimmering shades. Brush just on your apples or all over your face and neck.
Tarte Celebutante Dry Oil Shimmer Spray ($34): Add champagne-hued mineral-based shimmer all over your bod with this dry oil spray. It's not greasy and will make even the dullest skin glisten.
Nars Nail Polish ($16): You can even get your tips in on the action with long-lasting Orgasm. You heard me right, it's a peach pink chip-free nail polish with a golden sheen. Love it!
Would you wear glittery or shimmery beauty products?

Before last weekend, I would have said NEVER - I'm too old, but Saturday night my daughter talked me into using a glittery bronze from Clinque and EVERYONE commented on how wonderful my skin looked - even my husband asked if I had some "work" done without him knowing! haha
i love the nail polish.
