Yowza! I barely recognize her! It's hard to believe this is the same Emma Watson that we first met as frizzy-haired Hermione Granger almost a decade ago.
This is definitely proof that the Harry Potter series has come to a close and she has shed that girlish look for a more grown-up pixie cut.
“Oh my God, it was the most liberating thing!” she tells EW.com. “The stylist just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out. It felt amazing. I love it."
She's been forced to rock the same hairstyle for a decade now, missing out on all of those good (and sometimes bad) experiments that teens often do with their hair.
"I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I had the chance I was like, ‘Right. This is it.’"
As gorgeous as I think she is with long hair, I think this cut suits her as well. She has such a beautiful face, and, without the hair, it's really emphasized. Plus, she seems to really love it, and that's all that matters.
What do you think of Emma's new pixie hairstyle? Do you like her better with long or short hair?

Miss-Baby-Baker, I thought the exact same thing -- a very young Twiggy!
