Finally, the only thing I really wanted to see from the Clinton-Mezvinsky wedding beyond Chelsea's Vera Wang bridal gown is revealed!
Yes, you guessed it. I've been dying to catch a glimpse of Hillary's Oscar de la Renta mother of the bride dress -- well, the bottom half of the dress, that is, since we only got to see a peek of the top of the pretty fuchsia dress in the first-released wedding photos, which made the waiting almost worse.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, her mother Dorothy Rodham, and Chelsea Clinton pose during Chelsea's wedding festivities, held at the Astor Courts Estate along the Hudson River.
Hillary is wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown, which Bridget Foley of Women’s Wear Daily describes as "Italian organza in a high-drama ombréd range from magenta to pale pink.” Oh that it is. The colors are perfect for Hillary, and I love the pretty (and tiny!) waistline, the soft shoulder drapes, and the floral-detailed skirt. She looks very fresh, lovely, and happy.
Grandmother Dorothy Rodham is wearing a nice slate gray dress with a sparkly brooch at the shoulder.
The trio looks stunning.

I don't know. It's not an ugly dress, but I just think it looks so out of place. I think it would be more appropriate for some other gala event. I do agree, the other two ladies look great!
I think if it was all the top color and didn't have the flowers it would seem more appropriate. As is I would have to say it looks more like a prom or a gala event. But they all do look beautiful.

I think the dress is way over the top for a mother-of-the-bride dress, and definitely not age-appropriate for Hillary - she just looks ridiculous to me. I'd love it on a younger woman with a funky sense of style.
Way too young for her. She looks like a Southern Belle. The top is pretty. I would like it if the darker red color just continues straight down.

I think the photo is beautiful. Chelsea is so lucky to have mom &grandma at her wedding. Yah it's does remind me of snow white costume now that i see previous post. I still like it though, different maybe not "classic" but dramatic.
