Social society usually keeps us from doing so, but Bristol Palin is saying screw social norm and is wanting a camouflage wedding.

It's so deliciously redneck -- I love it! According to Marie Claire, the Alaskan teen wants to incorporate the pattern in matching vests for her husband-to-be and their son, Tripp, who will be a ring bearer.

I have to say, this isn't the first time I've heard of camo being used in weddings. In what I like to call my "other life," I was engaged and my fiance actually wanted camo vests for himself and his groomsmen -- he was quite the country boy. Needless to say, that didn't quite fly in our wedding planning.

But Bristol is the one that wants it, and since it's the bride, that means she'll probably get it unless Sarah Palin, MOB-extraordinaire, steps in.

And then they can all go hunting after the reception, it'll be killing two birds with one stone. Just take off the jackets and you're ready to shoot polar bears, or whatever it is they hunt up there in Alaska.
