Jessica BielI was innocently turning the pages of a magazine the other day when I came across this full-page ad from Revlon, featuring the (usually) lovely and (generally) fresh-faced Jessica Biel.

Jessica is a natural beauty, who seems to look better with less makeup as opposed to more. And she knows this about herself- You never see her vamped up when left to her own devices.

Why, then, would Revlon think this look on her would sell makeup?

I mean, I'm a big fan of the smoky eye, but not if it's going to make me look like that!

The only explanation I can come up with is that Jessica's look reminds me of a certain movie that just came out in theaters ...

Twilight.

Of course! Twilight! Because the only way Jessica's makeup would look good is if she were one of the walking undead!

Jessica's one of the lucky ones- She's far from ugly, even wearing makeup that makes her eyes look bruised and tired. But this particular makeover makes her look exactly like {insert name of hostess at trendy restaurant in mid-sized town here}, which is fine unless you're a wannabe-A-lister-movie-star!

But maybe I'm way off base here. What do you think of Jessica Biel's smoky eye? Does it make you want to buy these products?
