Swimwear is sometimes my enemy. I ordered this Ruffled Old Navy bathing suit online. Nervous about it arriving, me trying it on, and hating it -- but the opposite happened. I love it! It's just the right amount of sexy without overdoing it at the kiddie pool. It's not too high cut in the legs and the deep V isn't too revealing -- well, unless you are a D-cup or larger. That may make this suit even sexier. I'm a little mad because I bought it before it went on sale for $15, but it was still worth it.
I bought the brown dots (feels a little retro), but it's also in black, tan, and a light blue.

This two-piece Tropical Print Crop and Shorts ($55) from Topshop is perfect for those who love their upper body, but want more coverage on the bottom. I want to call this a knickers suit (fitting since it's from a British retailer) -- plus it's what you need if you have toddlers to run after. No one wants a wedgie.
If you want a fantasy bikini (my fantasy to fit into and look good in it), this In Mocean Striped Bandeau and Hipster Bottoms is it. It feels very '70s, which I love. And each piece is just $11.99 from Kohl's.
Want a bikini with a little more coverage? Panache Quayside Bikini from Bare Necessities covers just enough without being too ... well, covered. It's nautical with the navy, white, and tan stripes and feels sporty. And even though it's pricey ($46.99 for the top, $24.99 for the bottom), it will never go out of style.
The colors of this Figleaves Swim Hot Topics tankini got me -- hot pink, turquoise, and sea blue. And for those who are a D-cup or larger, this is tailor-made for you -- sizes go up to G. It's $52.80 for the top and $29.70 for the bottoms. I know, expensive. But you can also just buy the top and wear black bottoms that you already have.
And I cannot even handle this bathing suit bottom. I want it. Must have it. It's from J.Crew and it's called the Sweet Papaya Tie Short. It's $75. Ouch. The matching bikini top is $56. Double ouch. But this is my kind of bathing suit.
